217900 - 4-Week Facial Moisturiser Study for Males - Study Details and Application - £110

Study Overview

Eurofins Alba are looking for male volunteers to take part in a 4-Week Facial Moisturiser Study - 217900. The study is being conducted in order to assess the effect of a facial moisturiser on facial skin hydration and skin barrier function compared to the effect of no product use when the moisturiser is used for 4 weeks.

Volunteers will attend a screening visit on 27 July 2026 (appointments between 9am to 4pm). Upon arrival, volunteers will be asked to fill in paperwork to check for eligibility to the study. Once completed, volunteers will acclimatise for at least 20 minutes in a temperature-controlled toom, before having baseline assessments conducted. Volunteers will then apply the product to half of their face with the guidance of our study team, before repeat instrumental measurements are conducted.

Volunteers will return to the test centre after 24 hours to have instrumental measures conducted. The product will be applied over 4 weeks to only half of the face, before returning to the test centre on 24 August 2026. On the last visit, volunteers will have instrumental measures repeated, and will accomplish a subjective perception questionnaire.

During this 4-Week period, volunteers will be requested to mainain their usual skincare routine.
