Blood Sampling Study

Help Advance Early Diagnosis for Long COVID, Lyme Disease and ME/CFS

Long COVID, Post‑Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) can lead to long‑lasting symptoms such as extreme tiredness, pain, headaches and problems with concentration (“brain fog”) — even after the original infection has cleared.

We are running a research study to develop a new diagnostic test to help detect these conditions earlier. To do this, we are looking for volunteers to provide blood samples.

What does taking part involve?

If you are eligible:

 

• You will receive a participant information sheet

• You will be asked to sign a consent form

• Your height and weight will be measured

• You will complete a short questionnaire about your health

• A blood sample will be taken

 

Who can take part?

We are inviting:

• People aged 18-65 years

• People diagnosed with Long COVID, Lyme disease or ME/CFS, and

• Healthy adults who previously had COVID‑19 but with no symptoms of fatigue

• People who don’t smoke or vape regularly and haven’t previously

 

Your participation will help researchers compare results and improve early detection for future patients.
