Study Overview
Eurofins Alba is conducting a study to evaluate how effective a serum is at reducing the appearance of uneven skin tone and dark spots when used twice daily for 12 weeks.
To be eligible, volunteers must have at least one trackable dark spot on their face.
Volunteers will attend the test centre by appointment. On arrival, they will complete study paperwork before acclimatising in a climate-controlled room for approximately 20 minutes. After this, a trained assessor will examine the face to determine eligibility for the study. If eligible and enrolled, volunteers will undergo additional instrumental assessments and have images taken.
At the end of the visit, volunteers will receive the study serum and a sunscreen to use at home.
The serum should be applied twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, after cleansing the face. Morning applications must be followed by an application of sunscreen. Volunteers will be asked to record each product application in a diary sheet.
During the 12-week study period, volunteers will return to the clinic at scheduled intervals for assessments and routine safety checks.
