Study Overview

Eurofins Alba is looking for volunteers who have visible dark spots on their face to take part in an 8‑week study to assess how effective a serum product is in reducing the appearance of dark spots when used daily for an 8-week period. Participants will be required to use their own sunscreen (at least SPF30) throughout the study period.


Screening Visit – Monday, 09 March 2026 Appointments are available between 9:10am and 3:30pm, and each visit will take around 1.5 hours.Before attending, volunteers should wash their face with water only on the morning of the appointment (at least two hours beforehand) and should not apply any skincare products. Upon arrival, volunteers will receive paperwork to complete before they begin acclimatising. During the visit, our study team will carry out a series of visual and instrumental skin assessments. At the end of the session, volunteers who are eligible will receive the study product to take home and use.


Visit 2 (Week 4) – Monday, 06 April 2026 Appointments are available between 9:30am and 3:30pm, and will take approximately 1.5 hours.For this follow‑up visit, volunteers will return to the test centre after using the product for four weeks. The study team will repeat the same measurements and assessments to track any changes.


Visit 3 (Week 8) – Monday, 04 May 2026 Appointments are available between 9:30am and 3:30pm, and will take approximately 1.5 hours.For this follow‑up visit, volunteers will return to the test centre after using the product for eight weeks. The study team will repeat the same measurements and assessments to track any changes.


Expenses

Upon completion of the study, you will be able to receive £150.
