Note of Interest - Menstrual Blood Sampling Study

Study Overview

Eurofins Alba are looking for female volunteers with Endometriosis who would be interested to take part in a Menstrual Blood Sampling Study. The purpose of the study is to aid external research relating to endometriosis and menstruation.

Endometriosis is a medical condition where there is tissue that grows outside of the uterus. The common symptoms of the condition include pelvic pain (worse during periods), painful periods (dysmenorrhea), pain during or after sex, heavy or irregular periods, fatigue, bowel or bladder symptoms.Participants taking part in this study will be asked to use a menstrual cup during their period over a set number of days. You will be provided with the menstrual cup and full instructions on how to use and care for it.We are still confirming the details.
