217987 - 28-Day Body Firming Gel Study - £135

Study Overview

Eurofins Alba is looking for volunteers to take part in a 28-day study to assess the effects of a body firming gel on skin hydration, firmness, and elasticity on the arms and legs.

To take part, volunteers must exercise at least three times per week. Volunteers must wear or bring a sleeveless top and shorts to the visits so the test areas (arms and legs) can be easily accessed.

Visit 1: Friday, 16 October 2026.

Appointments are between 7:30am to 4:00pm. This visit will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Volunteers will attend the test centre by appointment.

During this visit:

- You will be given study information and paperwork to complete.

- A medical history screening will be carried out to confirm eligibility.

- You will spend at least 20 minutes in a temperature-controlled room wearing your sleeveless top and shorts to allow your skin to acclimatise.

- Images and skin assessments will then be taken from your upper arms and the back of your upper legs.

At the end of the visit, you will receive the study product to use at home.

At-Home Product Application

You will apply the gel once daily for 28 days to one arm and one leg, as instructed by the study team. The opposite arm and leg will not receive any treatment and will be used for comparison.

The product should be applied:

- After exercise on days you work out, or

- At the same time each day on non-exercise days.

During the first week, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire about your experience with the product after exercise on at least three occasions.

Visit 2: Friday, 13 November 2026

Appointments are between 9:00am to 3:30pm. This visit will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

You will return to the test centre for your final visit.

- Images and skin assessments will be repeated.

- You will complete a final questionnaire about your experience using the product.

Expenses

Upon completion of the study, you will be able to receive £135.
