217967 - 5-Week Facial Cleansing Balm Study - £240

Study Overview

Eurofins Alba is running a 5-Week Facial Cleansing Balm Study to evaluate the effects of hydration on the facial skin and eyes.

Participants will use the cleansing balm as part of their normal skincare routine, but only on one side of the face. To take part, volunteers must have dry and sensitive facial skin.

Volunteers will have the option of taking part in one of three groups

• (Group 1 screening - Friday 25 September 26),

• (Group 2 screening - Tuesday 29 September 26) or

• (Group 3 screening - Thursday 01 October 2026).

Upon arrival, volunteers will complete paperwork and be given a cucumber wash-out product and instructions on how to use at home for the next 7 days, volunteers will then return for visit two where they will receive the cleaning balm.

In order to be suitable for this study you must be a current user of a neutral moisturiser/SPF/makeup. If you are a contact lens wearer, please wear your glassess for the study visits.

Please note, visits 2, 4, 5 and 6 will only be between 9am and 11:20am.

Group 1

• Day -7 - Screening - Friday 25 September 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour.

• Day 0 - Visit 2 - AM - Friday 02 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 2 hours.

• Day 0 - Visit 3 - 8 hours after visit 2 - Friday 02 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 7 - Visit 4 - Friday 09 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 14 - Visit 5 - Friday 16 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 28 - Visit 6 - Friday 30 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 2 hours.

Group 2

• Day -7 - Screening - Tuesday, 29 September 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour.

• Day 0 - Visit 2 - AM - Tuesday, 06 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 2 hours.

• Day 0 - Visit 3 - 8 hours after visit 2 - Tuesday, 06 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 7 - Visit 4 - Tuesday, 13 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 14 - Visit 5 - Tuesday, 20 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 28 - Visit 6 - Tuesday, 03 November 2026 - This visit will take approx 2 hours.

Group 3

• Day -7 - Screening - Thursday 01 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour.

• Day 0 - Visit 2 - AM - Thursday 08 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 2 hours.

• Day 0 - Visit 3 - 8 hours after visit 2 - Thursday 08 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 7 - Visit 4 - Thursday 15 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 14 - Visit 5 - Thursday 22 October 2026 - This visit will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Day 28 - Visit 6 - Thursday 05 November 2026 - This visit will take approx 2 hours.

Expenses

Upon completion of the study, volunteers are able to receive £240.
