217553 - NEW STUDY - 8-Week Underarm Brightening Study - Study Details and Application - £150

Study Overview

Eurofins Alba are looking for female age 18 and over with any skin tone to take part in a study which investigates and compares the effect of two skin brightening deodorants under development on the appearance of skin pigmentation in the underarm when applied under normal use conditions over a period of 8 weeks.

Participants will apply one of the products to either the left or the right underarm and the second product being applied to the other underarm. You will be required to attend 3 visits over an 8-week period.

Volunteers will attend 1 screening visit from the options below (all appointment times will be between 9:15am to 3:30pm, and will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes):

Visit 1 - Screening visit options:

• Thursday, 19 February 2026

• Friday, 20 Febraury 2026

• Wednesday, 25 February 2026

If accepted on the study, volunteers will attend visit 2 on Friday, 27 February 2026, where visual assessments and images will be taken. After their visit, volunteers will be provided soap and the products. The product will be applied on their underarm twice daily for 8 weeks.

Visit 3 will be on Friday, 24 April 2026 for visual assessments and images. Self-perception questionnaires will also be collected throughout the study period at pre-determined timepoints (to be sent to volunteers via their registered email address). All visits will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Please note: Volunteers must shave their underarms at least 24 hours prior to all their visits.

Expenses

Upon completion of the study, you will be able to receive £150.
