Study Overview
Eurofins Alba are looking for volunteers to take part in a 24-Hour Facial Moisturisation Study. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of a cleansing balm on facial skin hydration and skin barrier function over a 24-hour period.
Volunteers will arrive to the test centre on Thursday, 16 October 2025, having refrained from applying any products since the evening before, and fill out paperwork and acclimatise. After acclimatising, instrumental measures of their face will be taken. Once measurements have been taken, volunteers will apply the product on one side of their face and remain in the test centre until the 8-hour measurement has been completed.
They will return on Friday, 17 October 2025 for a 24-hour measurement.
Visit 1 | Main day - Thursday, 16 October 2025 | Appointment times will be between 7:00am to 8:30am | This visit will take approximately 9 hours |
Visit 2 | 24h Assessment - Friday, 17 October 2025 | Appointments times will be from 7:30am (to be confirmed by our study personnel at the end of the main day) | This visit will take approximately 1 hour |
Expenses
Upon completion of the study, you will be able to receive £105.
